Water Filters vs Water Distillers

What's the difference between water filters and water distillers? We discuss the differences between water filtration and distillation methods. 

Water filters mimic the Earth's ground to remove certain chemicals and toxins. On the other hand, water distillers mimic Mother Nature to eliminate impurities.  

Water Filters Can:

• Reduce certain chemicals and toxins
• Treat problems temporarily
• Give you clean water fast 

Water Filters Cannot:

• Cannot remove bacteria or viruses
• Cannot protect against new contaminants or toxins
• Cannot be safe against bacteria and viruses

Water Distillers Can:

• Eliminate ALL impurities from water

Water Distillers Cannot:

• Give you access to clean water instantly

As you can see, water filters only target specific chemicals found in our water. By targeting certain chemicals, it approaches the problem from a top-down point of view. 

By acknowledging what chemicals and contaminants are in the water, we can effectively target them and make a filter media. If you already know the contaminants in your water and want to see if our water filters can remove those toxins, it will be beneficial for you in terms of what water filters to look for. 

However, this method doesn't fix the problem at source. The water filter will not be future-proof as new chemicals and toxins can be added to our water supply. Water filters are limited in its effectiveness in that it can only remove what it targets.

Water distillers on the other hand, go to the source to remove ALL impurities. 

The distillation method observes what the original, pure water should be. It restores the water to its original condition way more effectively than other methods or processes. This is the pure water that Nature intended. 

So if you are looking for the purest water and don't mind the slow process, then go for the water distiller. However, if you want clean water fast and don't mind water purity too much, then go for the water filter.
